The company recently invested €1.8m into its ventures and plans to both facilitate the expansion and bring its agentic AI to the market.
Advise, which is the trading name for Dublin-based RecommenderX, intends to hire an additional 10 people to its teams, as it expands into the UK, amid a recent €1.8m investment.
The company, which was established in Dublin in 2016 by Kevin McCarthy and John Phelan, is an AI-powered SaaS platform that automates data from multiple sources, to create personalised insights and recommendations and improve decision-making for organisations. Among its client base Advise currently includes Tatyo, Kerry and Dr Oetker.
The investment and expansion is part of Advise’s long-term international growth strategy, with plans to bring its agentic AI to market, amid a period in which more and more consumer-packaged goods providers are adopting advanced AI technologies. With this in mind, Advise predicts its customer base will double over the course of the next 12 months.
Earlier this year, Advise raised €1.55m to continue its international growth, citing plans to support global expansion and double its current headcount across the next 12 to 18 months. The funding round was led by Business Venture Partners and supported by a number of existing key investors.
Commenting on the news, John Phelan, a co-founder and commercial director for Advise, said, “Our expansion into the UK is just the first step in our international expansion strategy as we continue on a path of rapid and ambitious growth. The size of the UK market and its strong appetite for innovation will allow us to extend our market reach and grow our customer base.
“Globally, brands are coming under increasing pressure to boost efficiency while reducing costs. Although the demand for smarter, more agile solutions is evident, many companies are struggling to identify the right AI solutions to meet their needs.”
