Taiwanese bubble tea chain Hollin appears to have closed most of its outlets in Singapore. As of Jan 12, only one sole store at Punggol Plaza remains operational, according to a Google listing check and a news report by The Straits Times.

Checks by Vulcan Post at 5:14PM showed that Hollin has made its Singapore website private, and its Facebook and Instagram pages are no longer accessible. However, according to The Straits Times, the business remains listed as a live company on the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority’s Bizfile portal.
The Taiwanese bubble tea chain first launched in Singapore in 2018, with its original outlet opened at Toa Payoh. Over the years, six more outlets were opened at SingPost Centre, Suntec City, Plaza Singapura, The Woodleigh Mall, Punggol Plaza, and One Holland Village.
Hollin’s original Singapore outlet at Toa Payoh closed in Dec 2023, and its Plaza Singapura store shuttered in Apr 2025. Grab listings seen by Vulcan Post also showed that the remaining outlets have closed, with the exception of the Punggol Plaza store.

Some netizens have taken to Reddit to speculate potential reasons for the brand’s abrupt closure. One user attributed it to the intense competition in Singapore’s bubble tea scene, while another pointed out a lack of quality control across outlets.
“The milk tea and pearl consistency in the Toa Payoh outlet was great. Plaza Sing outlet was like drain water,” wrote user FruityPolity.
Vulcan Post has reached out to SingPost Centre, The Woodleigh Mall, and Far East Malls for more information on Hollin’s outlets, but has yet to receive a response.
