The move has enabled Advania to significantly increase its capabilities for Ireland-based consumers, in hardware procurement, software solutions and cloud-managed services.
Advania Ireland, which is part of the Advania Group, a Stockholm-based IT services provider, has announced the further expansion of the Irish market, with the successful integration of IT solutions and equipment provider CCS Media Ireland.
Operating across Sweden, the UK, Norway, Iceland, Finland and Denmark, the Ireland branch of the Advania Group was established in 2020, in the Sandyford Business District, Dublin. Primarily Advania Ireland focuses on local expertise and IT solutions for Irish businesses.
CCS Media Ireland, which is also headquartered in Dublin, has provided organisations with solutions for the supply of IT equipment for more than 42 years and its integration by the Advania Group will allow the Ireland branch to advance in areas such as hardware procurement, software solutions and cloud-managed services.
Additional acquisitions throughout Europe, for example the recent acquisition of Nordic consultancy, the AI Framework, is also set to expand Advania’s AI capabilities and better position its other businesses, such as the Ireland branch, to manage the next wave of digital transformation.
Commenting on the news Damian Murray, the country director for Ireland at CCS Media Ireland said, “It’s a really proud moment for our team and our customers. We’ve grown steadily over the past five years by focusing on what matters most to Irish public and private organisations, reliability, relationships and results.
“Now, as part of the wider Advania group, we’ve got the backing and scale to do even more, without losing the local focus that’s been key to our success. Our customers now benefit from a broader portfolio, deeper technical expertise and stronger vendor relationships.”
Dublin-based security services provider Ekco also recently announced a key acquisition and growth strategy, with the acquiring of Cork-based IT managed services provider Adapt IT. This is Ekco’s sixth acquisition in two years, signalling its plans for further expansion across global markets as it currently has 13 offices across Europe, Africa and Asia.
